Christmas sale and bazaar are everywhere. Normally people go to different  malls to shop for their Christmas presents but some prefer to shop at bazaars. At the bazaar, you can find different products and what I like most are the unique items that you can only find there. There are personalized items, good foodies and majority of the prices are really low.

Since I am near to Quezon City, I have search for the Christmas Bazaars in Quezon City.

Pre-Holiday Sale at SM North Edsa 2011

For shoppers who have been waiting for sale and wanted discounts for their shopping, SM North Edsa is having a Pre-Holiday Sale  from October 28, 29 and 30. From their banner ads, sale items will be up to 70% off discount.

Yesterday, we drop by to this mall to buy some groceries in the afternoon after my medical examination. The mall is not crowded. I think it is best to buy things for Christmas at an earlier time. I have seen some people buying Christmas decorations and some are looking for Halloween stuff since the Halloween celebration are few days to count.

There are some boutique inside the mall that were sale already with discounts on selected items. Mostly the sale items with big discounts are their old stocks. Some are broken sizes and you really have to check carefully for the item if it is still good. Spotted stores that are on-sale in kiosk are Coco, Susto, Shapes, Milani, etc.

Keratin hair treatment is healthy

I was planning to have my first hair treatment at a salon. Yes! This is going to be my first try for the hair treatment at a hair salon. I am not really fond of undergoing hair and beauty treatments at a salon or beauty center because I usually do the natural way of keeping myself in looking good or healthy. Another reason is budget. If I have an extra money, I spend it wisely more of an investment that I can earn. The main reason of not trying the hair or beauty treatment at a salon is that I am afraid that those treatment might cause some side effects and damage so I prefer to keep my natural beauty.

Be smart is the theme of the 42nd Korea Electronics Show 2011 that is happening now from October 12 to October 15. This is Korea’s biggest electronics show that one should not miss. The show is expected to emphasize the convergence between software and hardware. It will surely brighten up the IT industry as well as improving the quality of our lives as KES 2011 will show how the software meet hardware. Isn’t it cool and exciting?

Make the most of your budget with deals or coupons online

I have not tried buying deals or coupons online. My brother usually bought deals in different online sites that offer big discounts. I thought it was expensive and risky but I think you can make the most of your budget by trying to buy a deal from them. Since I have been receiving email alerts from them for their newest deals, I tried to browse some.

You can truly get big savings up to 80% off or more depending on their promo. Some of the sites that I have visited are ensogo.com.ph, cashcashpinoy.com, buyanihan.com and beeconomic.com.ph and metrodeal.com. I was tempted to buy the good deals that they offer. There are many ways to buy online like you can use you bank transfer, credit card, etc.

I just hope that these discount coupons or deals will not mislead their customers to what they offer online.

How Credit Cooperative helped me?

When I started working at home, some of the disadvantages that I have found are having less benefits like health benefits and applying  for bank loans and credit cards are hard to be approved. It is been four years now when I started working at home and I am so happy that I was able to cope with these problems with the help of being a member of a credit cooperative.

My aunt introduce the credit cooperative that it would be a great help for me since I just started a small business that time. She is so right. I was able to balance my financial accounts with the help of a credit cooperative. Before it was only a credit cooperative but now it grew and progress with good asset standing. It became a development cooperative which is the “Birhen ng Lourdes Parish Development Cooperative“.

From an investment share capital of Php2,000 four years ago now my share capital is bigger that had helped my family bought a second hand car and help my small business before. When I also gave birth via CS, I was able to take a bigger loan amount. Every time I needed a quick money big or small I can depend on this cooperative. The processing time of the loan application would only take two to three days compared to the one week or a month loan processing application with banks. I was a member of this cooperative when I am single and now that I have a family it even helped me with my financial needs.

It is a good investment for everyone especially for moms that usually needs cash for their family. I would highly suggest that one should invest in a cooperative but please make sure of  the standing of the cooperative. You should know the asset of the cooperative, the members and administrators, policies and most importantly learn from the active members.

Another tropical storm is expected, let us be prepared

There is another tropical storm expected to hit some parts of the Philippines forming in the Pacific within 24 hours according to the reported news and weather bureau. Typhoon “Pedring” or Nesat (International name) is expected to move offshore this afternoon as reported by the Philippine weather forecast.

Let us be prepared! Let us charge batteries, emergency lights, rechargeable equipments and most of all let us stock food. Also, let us check parts of the house if there some problems so we will be in good shelter.

Strong winds by Tropical storm Pedring

I wake up today hearing the strong gusty sound made by the strong winds. There is  power outage and I just use my mobile phone to check the weather forecast. It is storm signal number two by which the Northern, central Luzon and Bicol region was mainly affected.

My brother just arrived from his work in Makati and he told me that the wind was so strong. It is dangerous to go outside of house today so we better stay safe at home. Travel by sea and plane is also risky as there is already a tropical cyclone warning.

Let us pray that God may keep us safe from danger.

Being a member of a development cooperative has helped me a lot in my financial aspects. I have tried taking out a loan several times and I was so happy with the outcome. My main reason of investing some money in a development cooperative is to take out a loan for my business expansion. Three years ago I have a small internet café. My aunt encourages me on how it can help me in my business. There are different types of loan that a member can avail. Since I have a small business I applied for a productive loan. It truly helped my small business in the expansion.
