Holy week 2012 schedule dates

Holy week is the last week of lent and the week before Easter in Christianity. The holy week covers the religious holidays of Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday), Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. These are the days when Catholic people  go to sacred places like church, grotto and other sanctuaries for repentance.

When is Holy week 2012 schedule dates?

The Holy week 2012 schedule date begins on Palm Sunday which falls on April 1, 2012 which commemorates the Passion of Christ.  It ends on Holy Saturday 2012, which falls on April 7, 2012.

Let us make the holy week as time for kindness, repentance and think of good deeds that can be shared to our fellowmen.

Last day to Wonka Imaginarium

Today is the last day of Wonka Imaginarium at The Grand Atrium, Shangri-La Plaza Mandaluyong. I have been there last December 2 that I blog about at Be Enchanted at the Wonka Imaginarium.

Manny Pacquio Vs May Weather Jr. fight in 2012

Promoter Bob Arum said that the boxing match between Filipino boxing icon Sarangani Rep. MannyPacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. may push through in 2012 once financial issues are ironed out.

In an interview (news watch from GMA TV) he said that he is been talking to various investor groups and they want to make the best deal possible. He sees the fight pushing through in 2012 but he did not specify a date. Currently, they have been working diligently talking to investment groups and they also have to see if it’s acceptable to both sides.

According to  Manny Pacquiao in an interview (GMA newsTV), he is willing to fight over May Weather Jr. in 2012 but they just need to deal the financial issues first in both parties.

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3: Who wins?

The long wait is over for the 12-rounds boxing for welterweight division of Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez. This will be the third encounter of Pacquiao versus Marquez in the boxing ring. Their first encounter was year 2004 for  For WBA (Super) and IBF World Featherweight Titles which led to Marquez down in the opening round and third knockdown but yet he rose to his feet. Their second encounter was year 2008 for WBC world super featherweight title . It was a split decision victory of Pacquiao over Marquez.

Watch the 12-action packed rounds between the two of this era’s top pound for pound fighters on November 12, Saturday 9Pm ET ( November 13, 9AM in Philippine Time)/ 6PM PT. The event will happen at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Let us find out who will win in this much awaited boxing fight of the year.

Manny “Pacman” Pacquioa won by Majority decision. Judges have it by 114-114 by Hoyle, Moretti 115-113,  Trowbridge 116-112.

The new 7 wonders of nature 2011 winners announcement

At exactly 11:11:11 GMT (7:11:11 PM, Manila Time), November 11, 2011 (11/11/11), the voting time was closed for the new 7 wonders of nature. There are 28 finalist by which Puerto Prinsesa Underground River (PPUR) from our beloved country is also included.

According to the new7wonders.com when I visited to check, preliminary results will be announce at 7:07PM GMT or 3:07 Manila time. I am so excited to see if the seven votes that I cast will win. Importantly, I hope that Puerto Prinsesa Underground River will be one of the winners in the new 7 wonders of nature.

The show is expected to emphasize the convergence between software and hardware. It will surely brighten up the IT industry as well as improving the quality of our lives as KES 2011 will show how the software meet hardware. Isn’t it cool and exciting?

Another tropical storm is expected, let us be prepared

There is another tropical storm expected to hit some parts of the Philippines forming in the Pacific within 24 hours according to the reported news and weather bureau. Typhoon “Pedring” or Nesat (International name) is expected to move offshore this afternoon as reported by the Philippine weather forecast.

Let us be prepared! Let us charge batteries, emergency lights, rechargeable equipments and most of all let us stock food. Also, let us check parts of the house if there some problems so we will be in good shelter.
