Summary for my online earnings for 2010

I started my blogging career last March 2010 but I just started making money from it last September 2010 and my first earnings came from Adgitize. Since this is just my extra activities online because I have a regular online job, I only spare a little amount of time in blogging approximately one to two hours and although I know that there are lots of opportunities online, I only choose certain opportunities to earn extra money because I don’t want to pressure myself. Pressure and stress are for my family and regular online work and pleasure, fun, online updates, extra earnings are for my blogs and site.

Aside from Adgitize, I also earn from blogvertise but with Review Stream sadly I was not able to request payment because I still didn’t meet the minimum last 2010. Hopefully, I can manage Review Stream this year but it is not my priority because I deal with more time to create and think of my honest review about the product and more time for me is for my family. I also earned from direct advertisers in my Life’s Learning of a Filipino Work at Home Mommy (my first ever blog). In this blog, you will learn more about me and the inspiring stories that I have had in my life.

Summary of my Online Earnings for 2010:

Adgitize earnings 2010 —————Â $82.60 (I started to join June but only became active last September 2010)

Blogvertise earnings 2010 ———–Â $50.00 (I started to join August 2010)

Direct Advertisers ———————Â $200.00 (some direct advertisers contacted me to advertise which started last October 2010)

Total Earnings: $332.00

I know that my total earnings is not that big compared to other bloggers and site owners but I am so happy and contented for the summary of my earnings. Some of my earnings were spent to maintain my domain and webhosting and some for my extra expenditures.

I still have pending earnings to come that was not included here because I am still waiting for the minimum payoutÂ from other ads like from Nuffnang, Infolinks, Adbrite and Chitika. I hope this year will be fruitful for my extra online earnings.

Is it true that Facebook Closes down on March 15?

“Facebook is shutting down on March 15” . I have read so many post about this issue that Facebook closes down on March 15 this year but I really don’t mind what I’ve read because I didn’t receive any notifications in facebook about it and possibly its another internet hoax until I had a small talk with my brother the other night.

From our conversation, he is thinking that it might be true so I decided to investigate through searching and browsing on the internet about that issue to enlighten us. There are really many post and news about Facebook shutting down on March 15 and I found this post “Facebook will end on March 15“ which might help others understand the contents of the news/issue. In that news, Mark Zuckerberg the creator, CEO and President of Facebook announced that Facebook will be shut down in March. I also tried to read more post and news about the issue and I found that prior to the post from weeklyworldnews.com about “Facebook will end on March 15“, there are also other earlier post about Facebbok shutting down and there are other version of the news like Facebook will shut down in April, February, etc. which only shows that it is not true.

So, is it true that Facebook will be shut down in March? The answer is a big No! Kindly read this “The Facebook Blog”.

Facebook is really a powerful social networking site for everyone whether we use it for personal, business and family connections. but we should limit the usage of it especially to kids that may harm their innocent minds with what they see or read so we parents should be responsible for our child’s activities on the internet.

How to create a paypal account?

Here are the steps on how to open or create a paypal account:

Create a paypal account then click on sign-up today.

Choose for the paypal account type: Personal, Premiere or business account depending on what’s applicable to you. In my case, I choose Paypal Premier account because I buy and sell online. Also choose your country or region from the drop-down button. Then Click on Get Started button on the Paypal account type that you would like to create.
Enter your information page will show once you click on Get Started. Fill up the form. You can skip to link your credit card because you can still link it at a later time but if you wanted to shop right away you can just simply link your credit card. In my case, I didn’t link any credit card but I just link my bank account right after creating my paypal account because I think first for the best bank account that I can link with my paypal for the ease of transaction. Also read on the user agreement first then click on Agree and Create an Account.
You will be asked to verify your account by adding a credit card or debit card but you can skip this stage if you are not yet sure on what card to link and you can link your card at a later time. If you will be adding the card, a Verfication Program are necessary to be eligible to withdraw paypal funds. In my case I use my Unionbank EON card to link with my paypal account.
Be sure to confirm your email address by clicking on the confirmation link sent by Paypal to the email address that you use to register in your paypal account. Once you have successfully created a paypal account, you may view the account overview page with your name, email address and account status. Your account status will be verified when you successfully link any of your card with paypal.
Voila! You now have a paypal account that you can use to buy, shop and sell online.

Aside

I would like to update my make money online opportunities status that I will be doing my extra make money online in a more relax way. For the first and second quarter of the year I will be giving my full time to my regular online job and it really requires a lot of patience, devotion, hard work and extended hours to meet my task. I will be relaxing in my other extra online activities to make way for it but I would still be doing my regular adgitizing, reviews and post.

I will be planning a ahead of time for my articles and post so I can schedule it when I am already on a hot seat for my regular online job. It really makes me feel good when I am doing a lot of activities and the learning continues but before that hectic season I am so excited to learn my driving lessons with my hubby. Yehey! I am now on a count down for that.

My Durable Sony Ericsson cellphone

It is almost five years since I started using my Sony Ericsson k610i cellphone and I am very happy with these cellphone and it never disappointed me. As technology arises, there are lots of innovations and models available in the market. Since I am not the type of person who is fond of buying new gadgets or even cellphones, I have used this cellphone since year 2006 and my hubby just gave me another cellphone last year which is Samsung brand and it became my regular cellphone since it is postpaid but this cellphone is not that durable compared to my Sony Ericsson phone. Sadly, it malfunctions this new year and I don’t want to waste my time to repair this phone since the value of the phone easily depreciate so now I am back using my Sony Ericsson K610i.

I am really planning to purchase a new phone before the 2010 ends as I share a post about Sony Ericsson Aspen Mobile Phone but because there is an advancement of our family goal for the first quarter of 2011 which happened last December 2010 I decided to move the date to purchase a new phone. When it comes to budget, I am really thrift and I wanted a single centavo to be spend wisely so I am still balancing our family budget for that although I always have extra money but savings should always go to savings which is very important for my family and there is always a right time and budget for other extra things or pleasure.

For now I would still enjoy using my Sony Ericsson K610i. The simpleÂ features of Sony Ericsson K610i that I often used are it’s very nice organizer, easy messaging, super easy to use camera with 2.5X digital zoom, video and voice recording which is very clear, bluetooth connectivity, very nice sound when playing music, web browser when I need an immediate research, design of wallpaper which is in this year the honeysuckle reddish pink and the color of this phone is red which symbolizes love, luck and vibrant.

My First Money Transfer from Paypal to my bank account

I have been very busy this December and I am loving it because two of the major dreams and goals of me and my husband is coming true and we were able to accomplish it in a matter of time.

Anyway, I would just like to share my first attempt to withdraw the money from my Paypal account to my bank account and it was successful. The bank account that I use to verify in my paypal account is Unionbank EON which I already had for almost three to four months ago. Although I have small earnings several times in my paypal account, I initially use my earnings from my paypal account to advertise my first blog, to buy a new domain and web-hosting for this blog and for the other website that I maintain that is why I haven’t reach a bigger earnings in my paypal account but I am very happy because I didn’t spend a single centavo for the domain and web-hosting because I use the money directly from my paypal account to pay this online transactions.

Anyway, I am so happy with my first experience with the transfer of the money from my Paypal account to my bank account because it only take two business days before I received the money. In the photo below, it says that the money will be transferred on Dec.08, 2010 but when I checked my EON online it arrived earlier which is December 06, 2010. When withdrawing money from your paypal account there is a bracket and option since I only withdraw less than P6,999.99 PHP there is a P50.00 PHP fee.

I decided to withdraw my $90 in my paypal account because I will be needing the fund to pay for my quarterly SSS contribution since I work at home I have a SSS self-employed voluntary contribution. The other amount will go to some of my miscellaneous expenses with my little boy.

More or less, I have already earned almost P10, 000 PHP in my earnings from my blog in three months and I am so happy with the results that I only do this part time I mean really part time about 1 to 2 hours per day and sometimes I wasn’t able to update my blog in aÂ day. I don’t put too much pressure because I am contented with the simple outcome and most importantly I have enough time with my family. I am looking forward for more earnings this coming year 2011.
